The U.S. Navy has announced plans to release on or around July 31 a request for proposals for the service management, integration and transport portion of the Next Generation Enterprise Network Recompete contract.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Tuesday says the service’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command intends to accept proposals by Oct. 1 for the NGEN-R contract’s SMIT that has four work segments: service operations; operating model; transport and productivity; and service integration.
SPAWAR considers awarding a single-award, indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery contract with a five-year base term and three option years for the services category.
